KING'S ENGLISH (2) was beaten twice as the favourite at Taupo when starting his career, and since then, he has won his last couple of starts on the bounce. He lifted late to beat a good type here 13 days ago, and with Opie Bosson picking up the ride, he can repeat the dose. TO BRAVERY BORN (1) will give the Walker/Bergerson stable a strong hand in this race, and he was too tough when winning fresh up in a good field at Te Rapa 6 weeks ago. He has had a quiet trial since then, and he will give the top pick plenty to think about in this. DROPS OF GOD (10) has led all the way to her first 2 starts, and though this is tougher, and she cops a wide gate, she is still worth including. TO CAP IT ALL (7) is a handy filly who has been thereabouts in some good fields this season. She has the services of Damian Lane this time, and can figure in the top 3 with the right run. L'AIGLE NOIR (4) is showing plenty of talent, and off a 7-week freshen up, he can't be taken lightly at good odds.
