Verdict
LOS PADRES (2) was solid first-up after settling last at Kembla, finishing off nicely to be 2.6L off the winner. Now back to Country level and he'll benefit from that run under his belt. Likely to get back in the field, though he looks set to launch from his strong fresh effort. The one to beat. PANIC (3) finished off nicely over the 1200m journey here and strikes a very winnable race on the back of that effort. The inside draw can see him closer than he has been in recent runs and that will play a major role in the outcome of the race. Guymer rides and he looks the main danger. MOSGOLD (5) felt the pinch late when first-up at Wagga, but came in without a trial. She'll be much better for that run and she's won 3/5 at this trip. Her second-up record is great and a bold showing is expected. KEIKOKU (8) is better than we saw last time out and can feature. BLOW IN (4) finished off strongly in the Cup here last start and can go close with a softer draw this time.
