GARCON RENARD (2) was a barnstorming winner here fresh and since followed it up with some solid efforts, without winning. Returns to the scene of the crime and gets in well with the 1.5kg claim. Doesn't need to improve much to win again. SMOTHER (1) arrived just in time to get the bob and shed his maiden tag when resuming at Gawler. The form around him has stacked up superbly in 28 days, with 3 subsequent winners already. This is tougher but draws well and has Toeroek piloting. Have to take seriously. SPIRIT OF FLIGHT (10) was too bad to be true last time here when always well back. Gets the chance to settle much closer this time and gets 4kgs off on the quick back-up. Can improve sharply. ROYAL SCRIPTURE (3) knuckled down strongly to arrive right on cue to get the verdict last time. Can keep the ball rolling now and is in the mix. LADY ZELDA (9) caught the eye at the latest. Will be charging hard late again.
