Lines up for the fourth time and now gets out to what looks a more suitable distance for the first time. Ready to salute. NARUKAMI (3) firmed in betting on debut at the Gold Coast 23 days ago but never gave backers a hope in the 1200m maiden. Bred to want a bit of ground so prepared to give him another chance out to 1550m. ZEPHIRINE (4) produced the best of her eight runs to date last time out when she thundered home to finish the closest of seconds over this course and distance. Probably settles a bit closer today out of gate one. Right in contention. FRANKELY SUBLIME (1) has been thereabouts at all but one of her runs this prep, each time at the provincials. Major player coming back to a country maiden. PULIGNY (6) is from a Zabeel mare so she should enjoy this step up in distance.
