She won her first couple of starts before finishing fifth as the favourite in a stronger field than this. She won her latest trial at Waverley, and from the ace draw, she is the one to beat in this. SHOWBASTIAN COE (1) has had a freshen up since his last start at Waverly nearly 7 weeks ago. A recent trial will ensure that he is ready to run a good race in a field that has been hammered by scratchings. AMAZONIA (11) was beaten by a wide draw at Tauranga last time out, and is a chance in this field from a superior draw. ZA SPIRIT (9) will appreciate racing on her home track, and a form reversal is on the cards. KANA (3) will be peaking third up, and she can bounce straight back into the money here. STIPULATOR (10) strips fitter second up, and has no problem with a wet track. She is down in the weights and ready to show something.
