BEAU'S A LAD (4) missed the placings two starts ago and was never a factor when fifth in a far stronger field over 1400m at Ascot two-and-a-half weeks back. He is perfectly placed back in class and is the one to beat for us. RISING FAME (7) showed plenty of grit to break her maiden last start over 1400m at Bunbury, winning by nearly a length. With the advantage of the pole position, she’s one to consider on an each-way basis. SOLDIER OF GOD (1) resumed with a solid third a fortnight ago over 1200m at Ascot, just a length off the winner. He won't have to improve by much to be the winner here. ICANDOIT ONMYOWN (6) tackles a modest field and has placed in three of seven runs over this trip. She will be peaking third up, and with the dip in class, she can figure in the top three.
