RULE OF LAW (1) will be peaking third up, and will relish stepping out to a mile for the first time this prep. He is perfectly placed from the pole position to hold a handy spot early on, and he should have a strong finish when presented in the run home. Hard to beat. AKENEHI (6) has run on nicely in her last couple of starts since winning here in November before that. She has form on a good track and should go close to taking this out. QUEEN OF NAPLES (8) has not quite come up as she was expected to do this season, but was doing her best work late at Timaru last time out over this trip. She is looking for more ground, but Bruno Queiroz sticks with her, and so do we. DON PAULY (9) was given no hope last start, and was blowing hard after that run, which might also explain the modest run. He is better than that and can make amends. Each way value. OAKSDEEL (7) tried hard but was beaten by a nasty gate at Timaru last time out. She has another poor gate, but can rebound with some luck.
