DAMONS ON A BENDER (6) drifted back further than anticipated on debut when a sound fourth over 1200m at Beaumont (Newcastle). Should have come on strongly for this and expect a much better performance here. ENCHANTED WORLD (8) nice return two-back, before failing to stretch out in the heavy (10) conditions when fifth over 1200m at Coffs Harbour. Capable on her day and can feature with even luck. SMASHING NOVA (5) big improver at his second run back with a tough on-pace second over 1300m at this track. Drawn out and not without each way prospects.
