All About Live Quantum Blackjack Plus

September 12, 2023

It’s no secret that Blackjack is one of the most popular table titles to be found on casino floors around the world.

Therefore, online casinos are always looking to beef up their Blackjack games section, providing users with different variants of ‘21’ to ensure that the dealer-player action stays at an all time high. Fairly new to virtual casino shelves, Live Quantum Blackjack Plus is one of these that has been enhanced from the original, giving players the chance to enter a world of refined Blackjack gameplay. Let’s discover more about this multiplier-heavy variant.

Things to Know

If players have any experience with Live Quantum Blackjack, the Plus version may feel familiar in some ways. However, for those that have no exposure to either, there are a few things to keep in mind. To begin, players will notice that the game makes use of a 6 deck shoe which automatically shuffles all the cards after each round. Additionally, like all Live Casino titles, gameplay is filmed from a real casino studio, and players are designated one dealer that facilitates the action, responds to bets, and generally guides the game. These details set up the same high-class casino ambiance one would expect in a land-based location.

How to Play

Now, the important part: how to play! Before Live Quantum Blackjack Plus begins, 3 or 5 cards are chosen at random to represent the multiplier cards for that round. Those cards that are nominated can hold a value of either x2.5, x3, x5, or x10. When a player’s hand beats the dealer’s with one or more multiplier cards, their payout rises depending on the value displayed. In this case, when a player’s payout is multiplied, they are not returned their initial wager.

Some additional things to note about this variant is that the dealer will always ‘Push’ on a 3 card bust which just means that the stake is always returned to the player unless there is a multiplier that is paid. When there is more than one multiplier, they are all added together to produce a cumulative payout (for example, x3 +x3 is x6). Aside from the multiplier push twist, Live Quantum Blackjack Plus plays out just like the traditional game.

One of the most frequently asked questions about this game is if players can use the same Blackjack strategy they would in the normal game. Because the playing rules have not changed aside from the payout for a 3 card bust, players can still apply basic strategy.

What about side bets? At the start of the game when bets are being made, players are able to make two additional side bets that pay if they win: Perfect Pairs, where players first two cards must form a pair, and 21+3, where the players first two cards and the dealers first card needs to form a 3 card poker hand.

Last but not least, this variant is also available for mobile play, with its orientation automatically flipping from portrait mode to landscape depending on what view players prefer.
