Pretty even but prepared to forgive MR JONES (4) for last time. Began slowly and was just never in the race from there. Previous form good for this and well worth another chance. Best figures more than stack up. EVEN SHARPER (2) doesn't win out of turn but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing third and beaten half a length. The extra ground is the query but long overdue. OKESUTORA (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 1.5 lengths when fourth in a 1600m contest at this track a week ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Take catching off the inside. VALLEY PRINCE (5) was in the money two starts back at this track but couldn't back it up last time when eighth, beaten 8 lengths, at this track over 1400m. Best figures measure up nicely. Solid top-three prospects. CAPISTAN (6) has ability and can break through on his best form.
