ARTIE'S STORM (9) returns from a five-week break off the strongest last-start profile, having been beaten a head by Juniper at Belmont in a CL1. Riordan sticks with her today and she has good early speed to offset the sticky draw. Can go one better this time around. JEMCONI (8) was beaten as favourite in a Northam CL1 yet still placed after interference near the 200m and had won a Mdn at Belmont the run before. Back to this trip now and she's likely to sit off the speed this time. Watch for her coming late in the race. PERFUME PRINCESS (11) brings a last-start CL1 win at Belmont, but the drop back to 1200m is the query. She does line up here off a freshen however, and she can build on that performance. CALL ME INVINCIBLE (4) comes off a soft-ground Mdn win at Kalgoorlie where he stormed over the top to score by 1.5L. Looks suited out in trip and he can go back-to-back. CENTRE BOND (1) gets the blinkers on as he drops back in grade and can run an improved race.
