ABSTRUSE (4) is the obvious threat after missing by a nose at Cootamundra, where she had Marine Girl behind her, and her Moruya BM58 win prior showed she is racing in genuine form. Can put her best foot forward again. MARINE GIRL (11) has been close enough at Cootamundra and Corowa to be a serious player, though she has to turn the tables on Abstruse. That looks the right form for this race however. BEAUMISTA (5) was a clear second at Dubbo on soft ground and brings consistent recent ratings, but the four-length margin leaves him more a solid winning hope than a standout. HANUMAN (8) can bring up the hat-trick without surprising.
