BOY CRUSH (2) tackled feature 2YO races last campaign, finishing midfield in the Karrakatta Plate after a good run in the Perth Stakes. He's trialled nicely coming into this and Nottle's claim is a bonus. Showed class as a juvenile and can start his 3YO season on the right note. DAWN DANCER (1) couldn't be caught last start when taking on the older horses, scoring by 0.8L in a BM66+ over this track and trip last week. Things look to work out similarly here as he'll find the front from an inside draw and Riordan's claim is a big tick. Will give plenty of cheek. DAY OUT (7) got the blinkers on in his latest trial and exploded, bolting in to score at Lark Hill. They remain on for race day, and the inside draw should see him get every chance. Can fire a shot on debut. FARNOVA (3) was racing well for a freshen and can put her best foot forward again. EXTREME DIXIE (8) trialled well coming into the debut but was just fair. Expecting a better run this time.
