LEONESSA (8) had a soft run back behind the speed then found the line just fairly over this course and distance recently. Very fit at the third run back and can do better in a race that lacks a great deal of depth. TENENBAUM (2) is back after a four-month spell. Opened last prep with an arrogant win over this distance at Wyong then disappointed at $1.22 in a Hawkesbury metro class race over 1400m. Clearly has ability and 1200m while fresh looks the right formula. YANGZI RIVER (7) scrambled home on debut at Kembla. J Mac takes the reins which will attract interest. SPRIGHTLY AFFAIR (6) is a promising filly whose three runs to date, all at provincial level, have been hard to fault. Ready for this sterner test. UNHINGED (4) is back for a second campaign. In the money at both runs to date and should make a positive return.
