SIMPLY ROSSO (3) just missed two back before a 0.4L at this track and trip last time out. The claim of Atherden is a big tick and he's won 2/3 at this track and trip. Maps to get a lovely run and he can repeat the dose. MAJESTUOSO PHOENIX (5) led and kicked away to win by 4.6L in a dominant win at Broome as an odds-on pop. This is tougher, but he carries no weight today and that's attractive when coupled with his early speed. Can find the front and land the knockout blow once again. KOTE (2) finished right behind Simply Rosso last time out when the race favourite, sitting handy and being caught late. A better draw this time suits and he gets a nice weight swing in his favour. Won't be far away. FIRE THE GUARD (4) disappointed last time out when over further and comes back to 1000m today. Can bounce back. PRINCE RAGNAR (1) can feature on resumption.
