TERESPRIT (8) is a back-marker who has been savaging the line of late and enjoying some excellent results. Settled at the tail of the field before chiming in late to be beaten just half a length over this trip at Gundagai last start. Maps nicely back off a hot speed - Blaike McDougall draws the fence so just needs luck at some stage extricating. RAIN QUEEN (11) made it two minor placings from three this prep when she led but just failed to cling on over 1100m at Wodonga. Won her only race here at this distance. Big chance to add to that record. BIFURCATION (4) came off a 52-day let-up when an eye-catching second over 1175m at Albury recently. Fitter for that outing and is one to watch for in the latter stages. LULU DARLING (2) was back in form last Monday on the Pakenham synthetic. Veteran mare with an impressive record at this distance so cannot be ruled out. ZETALYN (3) has been out of the winner's list for a while but gets back to her pet distance this afternoon.
