ALKIRA (8) was heavily bet on debut and kept coming but found one better in Brutal Empire. Better for the experience and can go close with plenty of pressure up front again. MISS STRAT (4) showed ability in first campaign including a last-start placing. First try here but leading rider aboard and expected to measure up. PRECIOUS ILLUSION (10) was tested in stakes class before a break then resumed with a seventh at Hobart and was not beaten far. Has good upside and can improve sharply. ROLAND VIEW (6) is heading the right way and gets her chance to get off the mark. MACELLEROY (7) wasn't far away last time and is weighted to run well again.
