Tricky race to kick off the card with a few of these babies facing the starter for the first time. Of the raced brigade TOUCH BASE (1) just ran into one better here on debut before being tipped out for further time to furnish. Gets the reliable Tilley/Webster combination and should be right there when the whips are cracking. LADY ESTELLE (5) is on debut but has looked handy winning both trials and Lowe sticks in the irons for race day. Gets the benefit of her 3kg claim and can feature in the finish. ON THE CUSP (6) is another at the races for the first time but has shown ability at the trials and maps nicely for this from gate three. In the mix. DISCO DIAMOND (7) has revved up for this with a recent trial placing and may earn some minor money. The well-related ZHIVAGO BELLA (8) (half to Listed winner and 3xG3 placed Goodfella) best of the rest.
