SINGLETARY (4) won a trial prior to being beaten as the favourite on his home track in the Ryder Stakes at Otaki when he needed the run on a very testing heavy track that day. He has cruised to win a trial since then, and he can set the record straight in this. OUT OF THE BLUE (2) also struggled in some heavy ground when resuming at Taupo nearly a fortnight ago. He will be much sharper for this assignment, and he is expected to finish a lot closer this time. MIDNIGHT DART (1) was only beaten by a nose in the Ryder Stakes when charging home late from well back on the turn. He has no problem with bad ground, and he can go one better in this. SO FEAR (5) made progress as a juvenile, and she will only be stronger this season. A recent trial will have her ready to rumble fresh up. PERFECT CHAOS (8) was placed in all 4 starts as a juvenile, and started favourite in each of then. She resumes from a spell that would have done her the world of good, and can't be underestimated.
