Tricky little race. CARRIEDO (8) did some nice things in her maiden campaign, winning two races in a row including a dominant win in town. That saw her start $2.80 against Concord Connie at Flemington where clearly not running her race. First up now she should go well. SULEK (4) resumes. He also brings Concord Connie form having also placed in the Listed Bendigo Guineas last campaign as well. 1200m is on the sharp side but he's got the class to figure. AURORA BELLE (6) resumes for the Hayes yard over from New Zealand, unbeaten in two starts. They haven't been dominant wins but she clearly has scope and must respect here. BALANCE (11) won narrowly fresh at short odds and can go on with it. IMPERIAL AWARD (3) is unbeaten in two starts and has claims again.
