Pike replaces the apprentice hoop this time and a better draw makes him a very attractive commodity. His best is very good and a return to that level will see him hard to beat. SIMPLY THINKIN' (6) finished off strongly to win in fine style last start in an easier race, getting the job done comfortably by 1.6L. Has really hit her straps the past couple and drops in weight now. Can bring up back-to-back victories. SNIPPY WHICH (2) is another who is racing in good order, scoring by 0.2L last time out in tougher company. The claim of Riordan comes in handy and he does possess some early speed. Can play a leading role. BATTLE COMMANDER (3) bounced back to form last start and has to be included on the back of that effort. NOTEWORTHY (4) is third-up now and creates plenty of interest.
