AETHELWULF (1) talented gelding who made a mess of them first-up with a comfortable 5-length victory at Newcastle. Shouldered the 60kg last start with a respectable fifth over 1400m at Newcastle. Zac Lloyd takes the reins and is ready for this trip and further now. Can bounce back. CALL ME MOJO (4) faded late when a month between runs to secure fourth over 1600m at Wyong after showing good early speed. Has the upside to give a great sight with Tommy Berry booked. YACHIYO (3) chipped away late over the unsuitable trip first-up when fourth over 1300m at Hawkesbury. Raced well over this trip in Victoria last campaign. Maps well and can take a hand in the finish. ARIZONA LONER (8) comes here in peak condition fifth-up after running on late with a creditable third over 1400m at Newcastle. Cross-over nose band goes on and stays in the mix.
