MANZOBEEL (10) handy filly desperate for this trip and further. Back in trip with a fairly average seventh over 1400m at this track. Has the upside to get the better of these. MR AVERY (6) lightly raced gelding who made rapid improvement in his second prep. Closed strongly to get off the mark at his third race start over 1500m at Albury. Then stretched out to the 2000m with an eye-catching second at Albury on May 15. Returns from a let-up with the two trials and can overcome the awkward gate. MY MATE ELVIS (13) massive jump in grade and trip with a surprise second over 1550m at Canterbury. Returns to his home track and gets his chance from the good gate.
