ONE HARD LADY (3) classy mare with excellent first-up figures and all four wins have come at this trip. Came to the end of her prep third-up when raced handy at Caulfield with the 58.5kg to finish seventh over 1000m in BM74 class. Should have little trouble on a heavy surface and will take stopping after the two good trials. VINOLASS (8) has a tidy win CV and can finish over the top of these with the big weight drop. Set to peak third-up and regular apprentice sticks. Go close. TOOMPINE (5) is experiencing a long win drought and gets a better set-up today. Outclassed last start when ninth over 1000m at Caulfield Heath in BM70 grade. Can race closer and improve quickly. CROOK (7) consistent mare who returned good figures at her second run back with a tough second over this trip in the Cannonball at Warren. Will sit on the speed and give plenty of cheek.
