STARTLING STAR (4) made it back-to-back wins in fine style last start, getting over the top to score as a $1.60 favourite. The wide draw is no issue and she remains right down in the weights with Martinan's claim. Can storm over the top of her rivals once again. ANTIQUE QUEEN (5) gets Pike back in the saddle today as she steps up to 2100m for the first time in a while. She has a good fitness base though and the rise in trip looks to suit. Drawn well and can make her presence felt. DUCHEES DEMERIT (8) is hard to knock on recent form, finishing behind Startling Star last time out. McGruddy hops back on board today, replacing the apprentice hoop, and another forward showing is on the cards. MAJOR MARIO (1) can improve getting out in trip now and can put his best foot forward.
