NICCIMOTA (1) is the clear starting point after being pipped by Pingers in a BM66+ at this track, and that form reads strongly back to CL5 company. She has an excellent 1000m profile, and the 3kg claim helps offset the 61kg impost. Can sit handy and will take catching. CANNYKEV (2) brings a genuine counter-case, with his Ascot sixth better than it looks after racing wide throughout, and his record with Natika Riordan gives him a reliable platform. Should lob in a lovely spot and make his presence felt. RAW UMBER (5) was trending the right way before tackling a 3YO Open race behind Roger last start. Tongue tie goes on now and back to this level makes him very appealing. KING'S DRAMA (3) comes through the same Ascot BM66+ as Cannykev and ran the sharper race there, finishing strongly to be beaten a neck, so he has to be included. BLUE CAN TALK (8) is better suited here and has claims on his recent form.
