CRUISE TO VICTORY (2) was well beaten in a slightly stronger field at Broome last time out, but this is a much more suitable assignment and he gets the chance to bounce straight back. He has earned every bit of his top weight of 65kg, but he is good enough to lump it to victory here. FIRE THE GUARD (5) will be hard to beat after charging home to miss by just a neck here last start. That effort was strong enough to win this and another bold finish is expected. WEAPONS HOT (6) drops 5.5kg after being beaten by just under 4 lengths at Junction, and he can improve sharply back on a circuit that he knows well. RED REBEL (4) brings solid recent form after finishing third here and should land on the speed, giving him every chance to stick on for another placing. PRINCE RAGNAR (3) can improve sharply second-up. He usually performs better with a run under his belt and is worth including at the odds.
