JACKAND (4) is consistent and looks a key hope here. He doesn't win out of turn but comes back in grade having battled well in a pair of BM62's at Geelong his past couple. If they're coming wide in the straight on the heavy track he'll be very hard to hold out. MIDNIGHT GLOW (1) is in a similar boat, drawn wide but way down in grade off a BM74 run at Sandown Hillside. Up right in the weights from that but is well placed. THE QUIET IMMORTAL (6) was a maiden winner two back at Wodonga, good again last time to this trip at Wangaratta. Turns around quickly from that and draws well, consider. GREAT PROSPERITY (2) was good at Wangaratta last time out and is in the mix. ADMIRE FLUKE (3) might get a good run on speed and that could prove key.
