WHAT A RIPPER (9) ran below expectations last time at Bendigo, finishing tenth and beaten 9 lengths starting at $6.50. That was a stronger race than this and his two runs prior read well. Can bounce back. NORDIC STRIKE (1) started favourite last time out over 1000m at Warrnambool but found a couple better, making it five minor placings from seven starts this campaign. Overdue for a win and he is a real danger. BAZZAR (2) resumes from a spell of three months. Has filled a minor placing at each of his three first-up runs and can continue to progress for the Meech/Dabernig combination. MARILYN'S EDGE (6) is racing quite well, a winner two back at Moe then close up at Mildura. Right in the mix again. EDGES DIAMOND (5) can be hitting the line.
