Verdict

YAFAARR has thrived for the recent fitting of cheekpieces and is fancied to defy a 7 lb rise in the weights and notch a hat-trick at the chief expense of recent Wolverhampton scorer Variety Act. Guesstimate can also have a say on the back of a good Southwell second, while Porth Eilian and Patrol are others to consider in this competitive handicap.

Gamely notched her fourth victory of the season at Musselburgh (9f) in June and has mostly remained in good form, ridden too aggressively in first-time cheekpieces when seventh of 9 at Ayr (1¼m, heavy) last time. This C&D winner can bounce back.

Made a successful handicap debut at Hamilton (1m) in May and doubled her tally at Beverley (1m) in July. Back on track when chasing home an upwardly-mobile sort at Newmarket (1m, good to firm) last time. Needs considering stepping up in trip.

On the up since the cheekpieces went on and bids for a hat-trick following a pair of wins at Redcar, scoring easily in 9-runner handicap (1¼m, good to soft) on latter occasion. This course scorer is a big player despite 7 lb weights hike.
