STRIKING ALIBI (2) began awkwardly second up along the inside, and returned slashing splits from near last on the turn when the runs came to secure second in the G2 Tea Rose Stakes at this track over 1400m. Will appreciate the smaller field today and can get the better of Bangkok Hottie over the extra ground. BANGKOK HOTTIE (1) had the fitness edge over her main rivals all prep and looks to get the soft lead today. Was off and gone inside the 200m when she stalked the speed for a soft win in the G2 Tea Rose Stakes. Will have little trouble running a solid mile and shapes as the main danger. GLOBAL GOAL (3) underrated filly heading in the right direction. Just under a month between runs when she knuckled down strongly to finish a close third in the G2 Tea Rose Stakes. Strips fitter and expected to go close. QUEEN'S GAMBLE (4) never on the track when sixth in the Tea Rose. Kept up to the mark with a 1200m trial placing and stays in the mix. DE ARMAS (5) can surprise at the big odds.
