Looks a nice race for HIGH TEMPO (1) who has been in great form with two placings in succession, most recently when beaten a neck into second over 2036m at Ballarat. Comes back a notch here and with a bit of early luck should go close. TEL AVIV (6) finished fifth two runs back at Kilmore then improved last time out to score by 4 lengths after being in the firing line on the bend over 1590m at Wangaratta. Up in trip should suit and she has to be respected again. TISHMAN (2) resumes. He didn't fire in three runs last time in but has contested stronger races and is well placed this level. LAFONT (12) finished third last start over 1614m at Moe when she made late ground, beaten 3.5 lengths. Ready to peak now third up and will take holding out. CHATEAU VEGA (11) is going okay and can improve again.
