SUPIDO STAR (13) hard fit for this and drawn poorly again. Covered plenty of ground in the run with a fighting second as fav over 1000m at this track. Expecting her to get the job done today. PUFFIN (11) handy filly resuming from a lengthy spell. Was a month between runs with a tiring fifth over 1000m at Gunnedah over a year ago. Back with the two trials and can take a hand in the finish. SPELLECAST (5) blinkers come off for this and will appreciate a firmer surface. Raced on the speed last time with a tiring fifth over 1000m at Scone. Deserves another chance. NOT SO WRONG (2) comes back in trip for this and the blinkers go on. Showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish sixth over 1200m at Inverell. Apprentice sticks and can take a hand in the finish.
