TRAV (4) found the line nicely when fresh up at Hawera over 2100m last start. Has own 2nd-up before and he was 5th in both the Wellington and Auckland Cups last season. ONE BOLD CAT (1) put in a better effort up to 1600m in the G3 Metric Mile last start. Has won 3 of 4 starts 3rd-up and this trip is ideal now. MALACHY (9) completed a hat trick with victory at Hastings in August then just missed when coming from a minute back here last month. Got going late last time but can bounce back here. DONNYBROOK (7) caused a boilover when hugging the fence from last when others went wide at Hawera last start. Better track not ideal here. SUNSET BOULEVARD (2) disappointed at Hawera last start when dropped off the pace behind DONNYBROOK (7) 2nd-up. Better record 3rd-up though.
