MELONI (3) is in great form and produced a nice sprint to score at Hawera last start. Nice draw and top jockey back on board here. Will take beating. SACRED ZED (2) got back but loomed turn and powered home for an easy win at Riccarton last month. Has a good record at this trip but is dropping back from 2000m last start. Danger. THRILLING (10) wasn't beaten far after getting well back early in last couple of starts at Ellerslie in April and May. Has claims closer to home after quiet trial 5th. BRAVE REBEL (5) was first-up since May when charging home from the rear to get up in a tight finish here last month. Loves the trip and has placed 2nd-up before. SHEEZ DOMINANT (1) talented on her day but can be hard to follow. Has won first-up and loves the trip. Fitter for 4th to Old Fashioned at the trails last month.
