KING KAUFFO (12) is racing very nicely indeed. That has coincided with him putting himself up onto the pace over the longer trips. He was fancied when last racing a month back and looks well placed again. The claim helps too. DREAMSTONE (11) did a few things wrong at Wagga and that resulted in a poor performance. She goes much better when up on the pace so look for that here. SURELY SPECIAL (4) can easily back up his win if getting any luck from the barrier. Probably pushes on early and looks to stay on. CAPTAIN BARBOSSA (1) is back from a 21-day let-up and has the benefit of a trial placing; would be a player if the track had some give in it.
