# The Kavouras Roulette Betting Strategy: Everything You Need to Know

April 13, 2024

Roulette is a game of chance that purely depends on your lucky charms. Nonetheless, this doesn’t mean that you can just play without a strategy and win. No, it doesn’t work like that.

There are a few key strategies that are popular with this game. Some of these strategies include the D’Alembert, the Martingale system and the Kavouras strategy. However, the Kavouras strategy is more interesting and differs from the other classic betting strategies.

## The Kavouras Roulette Betting Strategy

The Kavouras betting strategy gets its name from its inventor; Kavouras, who was a passionate Roulette player. This betting strategy is developed on the assumption that the more numbers you cover, the higher the probability of winning.

Basically, you do not need to change your gameplay tactics when utilising this strategy. This is because in whatever instance, you just keep placing the same bet in the same place.

In simple terms, once you decide how to play round one, you will need to keep betting the same way on subsequent rounds.

## How the Kavouras System Works

The Kavouras betting system has some rules that must be followed to make it effective. The rules include:

• Place one unit on the corner of number 0, 1, 2, and 3
• Place two units on the six-line to cover numbers 31-36
• Place five one-unit bets on the splits 8/11, 13/14, 15/18, 17/20, and 27/30

This system is meant to cover 20 different numbers on the Roulette table by creating a pattern using the rules above. Additionally, the strategy allows you to choose the amount per unit. For example, you can choose to wager £5 on each round.

## Putting the Kavouras Betting System into Practice

Based on the example of per unit amount above, you will place £5 on the corner, £10 on the double street (six-line) and then £25 on the five splits (£5 on each split). The total bet amount will then be £40 after completing the entire pattern.

In this scenario, the corner pays 9x, meaning you will get £45 minus the £40 total bet amount to remain with £5. The double street pays 6x, so you will get £60 minus your £40 total bet, leaving you with £20. On the other hand, the split pays 18x; thus, you will get £90 minus £40 to be left with a net profit of £50. The total net profit will be £75.

Simply, the Kavouras system gives back a 1x, 4x and 10x on the corner, double and split, respectively.

## Pros and Cons of the Kavouras Roulette Betting System

The Kavouras system has various pros and cons, which are as follows:

### Pros

• Covers a large selection of numbers, providing small frequent wins
• The probability of landing a chip on the selected numbers is high
• You can use as little as £1 to bet

### Cons

• Unable to influence the house edge

## Whether to Use the Kavouras Betting System or Not

The decision on whether to use this strategy solely lies with you. Nonetheless, the strategy is quite straightforward, hence you do not need to memorise or cram it.

## Conclusion

The Kavouras betting strategy is an interesting strategy that utilises big patterns of bets placed on the Roulette table. While it may look complicated at first glance, this strategy is very simple once you learn the betting pattern. However, do proper research before trying out this strategy to ensure you know your limits.
