EYE TRACKER (12) was tested in the Pinker Pinker Plate last time out having broken the maiden the start prior. Much better suited back to this grade and can return to winning form. CHIHULY (2) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 2440m at Geelong, beaten 4 lengths, which followed a win at Sandown at the previous outing. Likely improver with strong prospects. AMAWASHA (10) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a neck over 2500m at this track. That was the third second placing in a row and draws to play a key role again. FOIX (3) is a promising type who looks to have more upside than most in this and will be better for the run around this distance range. BLACK PEPPERMINT (1) has a big weight and wide gate but is even better suited back on top of the ground so no reason he can't go back-to-back.
