TEMPTED (6) comes down off conquering Ka Ying Rising in The Everest, putting up a huge performance sitting close to a brutal pace and proving too strong. She'd been towelling up the lead up races and has clearly established herself as the best sprinter in the country. First time down the straight but can't see that being an issue and the Maher yard are impossible to knock so it's hard to be concerned she'll put in a flat one. Shade of odds-on looks very 'tempting'. JOLIESTAR (7) was excellent in The Everest for third and is a Newmarket winner here. Perhaps hits this with a bit more to come and she'll be charging home. HEADWALL (3) was 4th in The Everest and since a very good 2nd to Pericles. Has to turn the tables on the two gun mares but fancy the straight should suit his turn of foot. CABALLUS (4) is another Newmarket winner who has been excellent in the Everest and Russel Balding, he can give a sight up on speed. SKYBIRD (9) might be the blowout if we got a lot of rain.

At the latest run ran on from midfield and won by a head in a G1 The Everest at Randwick on October 17 over 1200m on a rain affected track defeating Ka Ying Rising carrying 56.5kg at $6.50. The race before that won by 3 len in the G2 Premiere Stakes at Randwick on October 3 over 1200m in soft going defeating Savvy Hallie with 56.5kg at $1.60. Best sprinter in the country and should prove it again here.
