BRIEF AUTHORITY (9) returned for his second campaign with a gritty Maiden victory over 1015m at Grafton from the rails draw. Can improve again despite drawing out. Respect. THUNDEROUS (2) sat off the good speed and was strong through the line on the quick backup when second over 1200m at Warwick. Senior rider hops aboard and expected to go close. A TOUCH FROM FAYT (3) relished the heavy track four back when saluting at Ballina. Hasn't been that far away of late and capable of taking a hand in the finish. TORONESS (5) handy mare returning with a stack of gear changes. Trialled well and not to be underestimated.
