Speedy mare VITTOZZI (10) is knocking on the door with a couple of recent minor placings, the latest over this distance at Illawarra Grange when she surrendered an early lead. Beautifully in after the claim and will prove difficult to reel in. BENEATH THE ROCK (4) has the most upside with just two runs to her name. Last raced four months ago when a comprehensive winner over 1300m at Warwick Farm, leading from the outset. Two recent trials should have her right up to the mark. The consistent ETOILE FILANTE (3) is back after a 32-week break. Competitive right through last prep although he does improve with racing on board. Trialled well enough at Gosford recently to suggest he can match it with these despite the gap between runs. MY PHAR LADY (1) returns from a 19-week absence. Failed at the only outing last prep. Twice a winner when resuming so keep her safe. Last start Nowra maiden winner IMPERIAL ROYALE (8) has a tougher task today but is lightly raced and progressive.
