TORONTO (2) smart horse who has only missed a placed twice in 9 starts. Nice win here last start in May when coasting up to them from midfield and putting them away. Tracked the 3 leaders before strolling home under a hold in his latest trial. Take beating. MAD MAX (5) racing well at 1200m and 1400m in recent starts and beaten 0.5L 2nd over 1100m here in August. Races up on the pace and has placed in two of his three starts here at Riccarton. Danger. QUEEN'S EVIDENCE (10) scored well here second-up when worked up to the leaders on the run and found plenty for a 1L win. Has placed 2nd up, just has a wide draw to overcome. ROARING BEBE (8) led and grabbed late at Ellerslie last start in May. Led and gave plenty under a hold when a neck 2nd to Oratia Beauty in a trail October 22. Respect here after nice trial.
