The enigmatic SNACK BAR (3) raced on the pace and loomed to win but had a think about it and subsequently finished a close fourth over 1250m at Canterbury last time. In the money at seven of nine here. Nash is the fifth different jockey in five starts and his aggression might be the silver bullet. TAXATION (10) started at $1.45 but couldn't deliver last start over 1100m at Canterbury although she had excuses. Will get back from a wide draw but she should prove tough to hold out over this slightly longer trip on a bigger track. LORD REMLAP (1) returned from a 19-week spell and kept his perfect record intact with a barnstorming win in a 1200m Randwick Highway recently. Has 60kgs to shoulder but his credentials are impossible to fault. METALLIC CAT (4) is back after a six-month lay-off. Went close on debut then won twice at short odds in midweekers before being turned out. Another with undeniable claims. SANTANA (9) is promising and should be ready to fire first-up.
