SHANTI (13) showed abundant natural pace on debut last start over 1100m at Hawkesbury then found plenty under siege only to miss out in a three-way thriller. Sure to derive great benefit from that experience and should give backers a tremendous sight again. BARRACKS (2) last appeared when fourth in the Listed Dalrello over 1000m at Eagle Farm five months ago. Came to hand quickly in the maiden prep and two strong recent trials should have him forward enough for this. AFFARI (18) overcame an awkward start to get up for a close second recently over 1250m at Canterbury, her third runner-up cheque from as many runs this time in work. Can go one better from a nice draw with J Mac taking over. ELECTRIC BLISS (11) was poorly away but went through the gears nicely to finish third on debut last start over this trip at Kembla. Definite contender although the wide gate makes it a bit harder. Waller's Zoustar debutante BRAVIRA (10) won a recent trial here and looks to have ability.
