Verdict

JEDI DREAM (7) disappointed in the Gimcrack but was much better in the Karrakatta and Sires' before the break. She's trialled nicely coming into this and the aid of an inside barrier is ideal for her as she'll be right in the firing line from the beginning. Down in the weights and is the most appealing with her upside. LET'S TALK (3) was just fair two back before winning narrowly at Belmont last start off a freshen. Things look to shape similarly this time with Tsang's claim coming in handy. Ticks a few boxes and can repeat the dose without surprising. SUPERSMASH (9) couldn't bring up the hat-trick before a 3.1L defeat in Open 3YO company most recently. She remains down in the weights as she comes back in grade today and she maps for a beautiful run in transit. Can get back to winning ways. KRAKEN TIME (2) can improve coming back in trip and with a small change with his gear. HEZANGELIC (1) trialled nicely coming in and can make an impression first-up.

Returns from a lengthy spell with the strongest form reference, having run fourth in the G3 WA Sires Produce Stakes at this track after closing hard behind Beatty. Her previous fourth in the G2 Karrakatta Plate was also full of merit at long odds, and she has since won a trial at Lark Hill. Look set for a bold showing, particularly with the aid of an inside barrier.

Had excuses when ninth at this track last week, beaten just under six lengths after settling back, racing keenly and covering ground throughout. His prior BM66+ fifth at Belmont Park was fair without being decisive, but he is fitter third-up and comes back to a trip where he has won and placed. Can improve coming back in trip and with a tinker with his gear.

Returns from a lengthy spell after ending his last campaign with a fourth in a Class 5 at Northam, where he led and was only beaten just over a length by Art Session. His previous Belmont second to Empress Of India was also sound, and the latest trial was a solid second at Belmont Park. Nice trial coming into this and he can feature on resumption.

    Verdict
Comes off a determined NMW1Y win at Belmont Park, where he was sent out favourite, travelled strongly and beat Fantaxtic by a nose. That followed a Class 5 fifth at Northam when still close enough in the market. His 1000m record is excellent, with three wins and three placings from six starts, and the claim helps offset the weight. Tsang's claim is a big tick and he can make his own luck up on the speed again.

    Verdict
Returns from a lengthy spell after a third in a Class 3 at Belmont Park, where she began slowly and was beaten three and a half lengths by Niccimota in a small field. She had earlier been beaten just under two lengths in a Class 5 at Belmont Park, so there is some ability there, but she is unplaced from two starts at this track. No trial coming in is the query, but it wouldn't surprise to see her feature.

Was not disgraced in Open grade at Belmont Park last start, finishing sixth and beaten just over three lengths by Dawn Dancer after picking up solidly. She had won a NMW1Y there two runs back, beating Star Martini by just over half a length despite being forced wide in the straight. Easier race this time and she can bounce back to winning ways in this suitable contest.

Kept on for fifth in a NMW1Y at Bunbury last start, beaten two and a half lengths by Scream at generous odds. Two back she finished last behind Let's Talk at Belmont Park after fading late and being unwanted in the market. Can't have.

Worked home late for third in a NMW1Y at Bunbury 10 days ago, beaten two and a half lengths by Scream after starting at big odds. The run prior at Belmont Park was less convincing, finishing last in a small field when unwanted in the market and unable to quicken. Better effort last start but he still needs to raise the bar.

Went close in a BM56+ at Moora last start, sitting just behind the leaders before being run down late and beaten just over a length by Mars Mission. This is harder company from country grade, and the previous BM68+ run at Carnarvon was plain when last and beaten just over nine lengths. Happy to bet around him.
