WESTERN MISS (9) was solid on debut before jumping favourite over 1300m at Northam last start and missing in a photo finish. Pike now hops on board and the slight rise in trip again is right up her alley. Looks a nice filly on the way up and can land the knockout blow. ROCKSTORM SALLY (12) was strong fresh before a disappointing run last time out in what's turned out to be a good form race. A better draw this time helps and Galati replaces the apprentice hoop. Can bounce back in a big way. MERCURY RISING (3) has disappointed in his two runs back, but he showed glimpses last campaign to suggest he had some ability. Third-up now can see him close to his top and a return to his best form would see him in the finish. ADROIT (2) is third-up today and should be able to settle a touch closer from the barrier draw. The form out of his last start has been superb and drawing away from the fence can help. SUPAROO (4) is next best.
