LIMAHULI (2) got a long way back but closed off nicely last start at this track over 1200m with the rise in trip looking right up his alley. He may end up back in the run again, but he's building into the campaign nicely without a trial coming into the preparation. Can raise the bar again third-up into the campaign. IRONCLAD BOY (6) hasn't won for a while but his last effort suggested he's on the cusp of a drought breaking win. The inside draw and claim of O'Donnell are big ticks and if he can run up to his latest performance, he won't be far away. WESTERN IMPACT (10) is racing well without winning. Faithfull goes on board now and she has won when riding him previously. Can sit much closer this time around and he makes plenty of appeal. BLOWIN' SMOKE (7) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1400m at this track when fifth. Well placed to make amends. SOARING SOLO (8) won't be far away.
