Siding with the resuming TAKEKO (4) for the Begg yard. She's a sparingly raced 5yo mare who was last seen bolting in with a BM74 at Moonee Valley. Clearly she's had a few problems but she profiles very well for this given her upside against a few that have more than hit their mark. LUNA CAT (9) is one of those, 6 from 46 over her career but racing very well of late. She's just found one better her past couple and gets in nicely with 53kg after the claim. VAIN CHAMPAGNE (10) resumes. She's a lightly raced mare who has never missed the placings this trip, expect she's hard to hold out. NEXT STEP IOWA (12) has won both starts this time in with varying tactics. She's a promising sort who gets in very light and can measure up, albeit sub $3 looks skinny enough in early betting. BIANCELLI (5) is consistent. She was okay fresh in Adelaide and should be thereabouts again.
