FIRE BOMBER (5) raced handy and gave a good galloper in Navy Pilot a run for its money last weekend over 1350m at this track. Opened this prep with a win three back over today's distance. Very fit and looks the testing material. VENOM RUSH (8) came with a mighty finish to score with ease over this trip at Ipswich two back. Subsequently not too far away over a longer journey. Steps up in class but this is not out of reach. OVER SPRAY (10) led for home and gave a great sight but was swamped close to home in a $200k race over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast recently. New to this distance but is lightly raced and has loads of upside. METAL MAN (7) has trialled successfully since a poor effort as favourite behind Venom Rush at Ipswich. Ratings say he can win if on-song. MOSHULU SPIRIT (2) has won three from three this prep, all at 1200m. Takes on a deeper race today but is difficult to knock.
