SWORD OF LEGACY (2) ran out of her skin two back over 1110m at Doomben, overcoming an awkward start to flash home and miss by under a length. Struggled here at this trip last start in Listed company. Less depth to today's race so a return to form appears likely. METAL MAN (8) gave away a big start on the turn then stormed home to miss in the three-way photo first-up over 1000m at the Gold Coast. Up in class but strips fitter and needs the extra 200m. One to watch for late in proceedings. LA BELLA BOOM (6) finally struck form at her latest appearance, working home well to get up for second over 1000m at the Sunshine Coast. Blinkers on for the first time suggests she is ready to find peak form. PROPAGANDA (11) returned from a five-month spell with an effortless win over 1110m at Toowoomba a fortnight ago. Big step up today but he has only raced three times so there is plenty of scope for improvement. GRINZINGER CHAMP (10) resumes for new trainer Jack Bruce. Betting the key indicator.
